Early access · Android

See how people use your app,on the screens where it happens.

Upload an Android build. Tapmap maps every screen on its own, then puts your Mixpanel numbers on the map: which screens people open, where they go next and where they drop off.

[01] How it works

From APK to map in about an hour.

Nothing to install, no tracking plan to write. You upload a build, we do the tapping.

01

Upload your build

Drop in an APK (up to 200 MB). Tell us if the app needs a login and add a test account. Connect Mixpanel with a read-only service account for real numbers.

02

We crawl it

Tapmap explores your app on its own: it signs in, fills forms and visits every screen it can reach, while staying away from anything that deletes, pays or logs out.

12:04:32 new screen → Cart
12:04:33 skip “Delete account” (unsafe)

03

Open your map

When the crawl is done the page updates by itself. Explore the map, see how often each screen is opened, and look up any event.

Watch it happen

Follow the crawl live: when it signs in, and how many screens and events it has found so far. Anything that needs your attention, like a crash, shows up right here.

[02] What you get

Your analytics, on the screens where it happens.

A clickable map of every screen

Real screenshots, connected by the taps that lead between them. 400 product pages become one “Product detail” screen. Click a screen to see what people do there.

[06] FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which platforms are supported?+

Android only for now. iOS and web apps come later.

Do I need to add an SDK or change my code?+

No. Tapmap picks up the events your app already sends to your analytics tool. If anything keeps it from seeing them, your report says what to do.

My app needs a login. Will it work?+

Yes, with a test account. Email or phone plus password works out of the box; multi-step logins will work with Maestro flows (coming soon). For one-time codes, use a test number with a fixed code. Social-only login, CAPTCHA and two-factor auth aren’t supported, so turn them off for the test account.

Is it safe to run my app through it?+

Each crawl runs in an isolated environment that is wiped afterwards. Your APK is deleted as soon as the crawl finishes, test passwords and Mixpanel secrets are encrypted, and the crawler skips anything that deletes, pays or logs out. Always use a test account, never a real user’s.

What does it cost?+

Tapmap is in beta: every account gets one free crawl. Paid plans with more crawls are coming soon.

Does it use AI?+

No. Exploring, screen grouping and naming are rule-based and predictable. You can rename any screen and describe any event yourself.
